Man walking from bar to TU Marriott jumped from behind [Crime Log]

A man walking from Lil Dicky's Saloon in the 100 block of York Road to the Towson University Marriott at about 1 a.m. on Sept. 29 was jumped from behind by another man and pushed into a creek, police report. The man suffered severe head injuries, police said. No further information was available.


Charles Street, 6100 block, between 1:42 a.m. and 2:10 a.m. Oct. 5. Person stole unknown items from Elkridge Country Club.

Acorn Circle, unit block, between 11 p.m. Oct. 5 and 9 a.m. Oct. 6. Playstation 3, controllers and games stolen from unlocked apartments.

Highland Drive, 1300 block, between 5 p.m. Oct. 4 and 7:45 Oct. 6. Person cut window screens in attempt to enter house.

Cromwell Bridge Road, 1000 block, between 3:30 p.m. Oct. 3 and 7 a.m. Oct. 4. Seven extension cords stolen from contractor lot.

York Road, 7100 block, between 12 p.m. Oct. 2 and 7:30 a.m. Oct. 6. Copper downspouts stolen from vacant house.


York Road, 1200 block, at 3:44 a.m. Oct. 3. Person attempted to break into ATM at First Financial Credit Union.

Lincoln Street, unit block, between 6:30 a.m. Oct. 1 and 4:45 p.m. Oct. 2. Money and jewelry stolen from bedroom.

Greenspring Drive, 1900 block, between 5 p.m. Sept. 30 and 7:40 a.m. Oct. 1. Person stole laptop from office.

York Road, 2000 block, at 10 p.m. Sept. 30. Person cut screen to window of Public Image Salon. Nothing reported stolen.


North Avenue, 300 block, between 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Oct. 4. Person broke window to enter house, but did not take any items.


Shawan Road, 100 block, at 8:11 p.m. Oct. 5. Two bikes stolen from bike rack mounted on back of vehicle.

Williamson Lane, 10800 block, between 7:30 p.m. Oct. 4 and 6:30 a.m. Oct. 5. Camera stolen from vehicle.

Gateridge Road, 10500 block, between 3 a.m. and 3:22 a.m. Oct. 2. Person removed screen from sliding door in attempt to enter house. Person entered home next door through open kitchen window. Unknown whether items were taken.

Scott Adam Road, unit block, between 6 p.m. Oct. 2 and 9 a.m. Oct. 3. Person broke into doctor's office through window, broke through drywall into adjacent office, stole cellphones and iPads.
