Man points gun at teens in Towson as they drive by school [Crime Log]

A man standing in the 1200 block of Cowpens Road pointed what police describe as either a black shotgun or rifle with a wooden pump as two teens drove by Loch Raven High School. The incident took place on Sept. 28 at a little after 11 p.m, police report. Teens went to Royal Farms to call police.


Loch Raven Boulevard, 8500 block, 5:13 a.m. Sept. 29. Man and woman brandished handgun inside 7-Eleven, stole cash from register.

Allegheny Avenue, unit block, between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Sept. 27. Cash stolen from apartment.

Willow Avenue, unit block, between 11:15 a.m. and 11:46 a.m. Sept. 24. Person forced open side door of house, no items taken.

Lhirondelle Club Road, 7600 block, between 7 a.m. Sept. 23 and 9:40 a.m. Sept. 26. Two coolers stolen from tennis courts at Lhirondelle Club.

Castle Drive, 500 block, between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sept. 23. Jewelry stolen from apartment.

Walker Avenue, unit block, between 11 p.m. Sept. 23 and 7 a.m. Sept. 24. Person removed screen from window in attempt to enter house. No entry gained.

Westland Road, 5000 block, between 4 p.m. Sept. 20 and 8 a.m. Sept. 21. Downspouts stolen from apartment building.

Sherwood Road, 6500 block, between Sept. 14 and 1:30 p.m. Sept. 28. Copper pipe stolen from basement of house.

Dulaney Valley Road, 1000 block, between Sept. 6 and 12 p.m. Sept. 26. Coins, two watches and Goucher College Equestrian championship ring stolen from dorm room.

Providence Road, 1400 block, between 10 a.m. Sept. 4 and 6 p.m. Sept. 24. Red Honda ATV stolen from beneath deck of house.


York Road, 2100 block, at 2:34 a.m. Sept. 25. Rock used to break glass door of Verizon store, cash stolen from register.


Lake Ridge Place, unit block, between 9 a.m. and 9:45 p.m. Sept. 24. Television, safe stolen from apartment.

Staffordshire Road, 800 block, between 9:15 p.m. Sept. 23 and 7:20 a.m. Sept. 24. Person cut screen on broken window, did not enter home.

York Road, 10900 block, between 1 p.m. Sept. 21 and 8 a.m. Sept. 23. Construction cable stolen from county work site.
