Woman charged with burglary from porch of Towson house [Crime Log]

A woman was arrested and charged with fourth-degree burglary after a package was stolen from a porch in the 1100 block of Deanwood Road, a police report states. According to police, witnesses called police at 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 12 to report they had seen a woman take a package, which contained a puzzle and DVD, from the porch of a house. Rebecca Ann Ferrara, 35, of the 2200 block of Westfield Avenue, arrested and charged with fourth-degree burglary.


Willow Avenue, unit block, between 11:30 a.m. and 11:55 a.m. Sept. 14. Person broke bathroom window in attempt to enter house. Window was nailed shut.

Dunkirk Road, 100 block, between 3:15 a.m. Sept. 13 and 7:30 a.m. Sept. 14. Person broke glass panel on shed door, stole three bicycles.

Glen Argyle Road, 100 block, between 10:30 p.m. Sept. 13 and 8:05 a.m. Sept. 14. Person entered house by cutting screen door, stole red bag containing credit cards.

Walnutwood Circle, 6600 block, between 5 p.m. Sept. 10 and 3 p.m. Sept. 14. Person entered unlocked garage, stole three bicycles, longboard, lacrosse stick, two lacrosse helmets, two skateboards and Ripstik caster board.


St. David Court, 200 block, between 10:45 p.m. Sept. 8 and 2:22 a.m. Sept. 9. Person forced open rear door of apartment, ransacked rooms, stole cash.


East Padonia Road, unit block, at 9:20 p.m. Sept. 13. Person entered apartment through rear patio door, stole laptop, wallet containing money, credit cars, driver's license.

Chetwood Circle, 2300 block, at 8:45 p.m. Sept. 13. Neighbor saw two men trying to steal bike from porch. Burglars fled when they saw witness.

Oakway Road, unit block, before 9:30 a.m. Sept. 10. Person attempted to break into house by cutting screen in window.


Burton Avenue, 1400 block, between 2 p.m. July 19 and 9 a.m. Sept. 11. Copper wire stolen from property.
