Three houses in unit block of Dunkirk Road burglarized [Towson crime Log]

The following is compiled from police reports from the Towson and Cockeysville precincts. Our policy is to include descriptions when there is enough information to make identification possible.

Three houses in the unit block of Dunkirk Road in Rodgers Forge were hit by a burglar or burglars who stole items from a shed and a garage at two residences; a shed at a third house was broken into, but nothing was reported missing, police report. The incidents ocurred between 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 24 and 8 a.m. on Aug. 25, according to police.

Polic report the following: At the first house, a screwdriver was used to unscrew plexiglass window covering of garage, where a bike was stolen.

Three bikes were stolen from a shed at the second house; and at the third house items in an unlocked shed were displaced but nothing was reported stolen, police report.


Aigburth Road, 400 block, between 4 p.m. Aug. 22 and 9 a.m. Aug. 23. Person broke basement window, ransacked house, destroyed large planting barrel in yard. Unknown whether items were taken.

Greenway Road, 8400 block, between 7:30 a.m. and 7:46 a.m. Aug. 22. Person cut copper pipe from basement.

Loch Raven Boulevard, 8400 block, between Aug. 22 and 11:15 a.m. Aug. 23. Person stole 175 feet of copper piping from basement, crawl spaces of four units at Loch Raven Apartments. Warrant issued for former resident.

Wardman Road, 7100 block, between 1:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Aug. 20. Person entered home, stole two laptops, two bicycles and car keys, then drove off in a green Honda Odyssey, Maryland plate number ACH84G.

Bosley Avenue and West Chesapeake Avenue, between 9:10 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. Aug. 20. Two men tried to rob woman on street but woman got in car with other persons and fled.

Dulaney Valley Road, 1200 block, between 11 a.m. Aug. 18 and 3 p.m. Aug. 24. Person unplugged phone wires, pried rear door of house, stole Xbox 360, computer and cash.

Glen Ride Road, 1700 block, between 10 p.m. Aug. 18 and 4 p.m. Aug. 19. Person broke basement door window and entered vacant house. Unknown whether items were taken.

Sherwood Road, 6300 block, at 11:29 p.m. Aug. 18. Man entered 7-Eleven, reached into waistband and approached counter. Clerk activated alarm, man fled.


Old Padonia Road, unit block, between 4 p.m. Aug. 23 and 4 p.m. Aug. 25. Person broke hole in basement door, stole laptop, air compressor.

Charmuth Road, 1500 block between 8:15 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. Aug. 22. Person broke basement glass door with rock, no entry gained.

Charmuth Road, 1500 block between 8:15 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Aug. 22. Person entered house through garage window, stole jewelry.

Nutmeg Knoll Court, unit block, between 8:30 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. Aug. 22. Computer stolen from unlocked apartment.

East Padonia Road, unit block, between 9:10 p.m. Aug. 20 and 8 a.m. Aug. 21. Person stole cash from Italian Café.

Londonberry Road, 2500 block, at 1 p.m. Aug. 21. Witness saw two men enter shed, steal two bikes.

Monroe Street, 9700 block, between 1:30 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. Aug. 19. Bike stolen from front yard. Gabriel Franklin Kokosinski, 25, of the 700 block of South Ellwood Street, Baltimore, arrested and charged with burglary.

Katesford Road, 800 block, between 7:45 p.m. Aug. 18 and 8:30 p.m. Aug. 19. Two iPads, hair straightener, cloth bag stolen from unlocked house.

Cleghorn Road, 12300 block, between 10 a.m. Aug. 18 and 4 p.m. Aug. 19. Person entered house through unlocked back door, stole laptop from kitchen table.


Beaver Dam Road, 9700 block, between 1 p.m. and 2:22 p.m. Aug. 24. Person entered hotel room to escape police, fled through window, was apprehended by police. Erik Anthony Lonesome arrested and charged with second-degree burglary.

Treherne Road, 200 block, between 11 a.m. Aug. 20 and 7 p.m. Aug. 21. Three bikes stolen from shed.

Mount Carmel Road, 1800 block, between Aug. 19 and Aug. 21. Metal roofing, car battery stolen.
