Boys robbed in Towson by men posing as police with Tasers [Crime Log]

The following is compiled from police reports from the Towson and Cockeysville precincts. Our policy is to include descriptions when there is enough information to make identification possible.

Two teenaged boys were robbed last week by four men claiming to be police officers and have Tasers. According to a police report, the boys were confronted by the men at the intersection of Hatherleigh and Tred Avon roads, at about 3 a.m. on June 30. The men stole an iPhone, cash, Samsung cell phone, wallet, earbud headphones and then fled, police report.

Towson

Radcliffe Road, 900 block, between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. June 28. Person stole bike from fenced-in yard. Bike was chained to porch.

Winespring Lane, 1200 block, between 8:30 a.m. and 5:40 p.m. June 27. Person broke into house through basement window, stole diamond bracelet, pearl necklace, watch, medications.

Burke Avenue, 300 block, at 7:16 p.m. June 26. Two men approached woman, stole money from her pockets.

Donnybrook Lane, 200 block, between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. May 26. Person broke into apartment, opened closets and cabinets.

Dunkirk Road, unit block, between 7:30 a.m. June 25 and 1 p.m. June 26. Person broke into garage. No items taken.

Acorn Circle, unit block, between 9 a.m. June 25 and 11:15 a.m. June 27. Person pried open storage unit, stole bike.

Donachie Road, 6900 block, between 8 p.m. June 19 and 6 p.m. June 20. Two bedroom sets, TV, chairs stolen from apartment.

Timonium

Countrybrooke Road, 8500 block, between 11 a.m. June 29 and 5:20 a.m. June 30. Person kicked in front door of home, ransacked bedrooms. Unclear whether items were taken.

East Padonia Road, unit block, at 9:57 p.m. June 25. Two men entered RiteAid with silver revolver, jumped behind counter, stole money from register.

Chetwood Circle, 2400 block, between 10 p.m. June 25 and 6 a.m. June 26. Person cut window screen, stole TV from home.
