Baltimore County Police say an attempt to break into the Liquor Mart on Taylor Avenue in Towson was made when one or more suspects tried to break through a wall in a vacant unit to reach the liquor store.

Police said the incident occurred Thursday, June 14, at about 1:40 a.m. at Liquor Mart, in the 900 block of Taylor Avenue.

According to the report, a vacant building was broken into, then a hole was cut to gain access to the liquor store. But an alarm sounded, and the suspects fled. Nothing was reported stolen.

Towson

Collinsdale Road, 6600 block, between 9 a.m. June 15 and 2:30 a.m. June 16. A 73-inch Mitsubishi TV, Sony DVD player and surround sound system stolen.

Old Orchard Lane, 1500 block, between 9:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. June 15. Cash and HP Laptop stolen. Front door unlocked.

Pennsylvania Avenue and York Road, at 11:08 p.m. June 15. Police say Tony Lyde, 44, and Reginald Johnny Bonaparte, 32, were arrested and charged with an attempted robbery for trying to take $2.01 from a victim.

Taylor Avenue, 900 block, at 1:40 a.m. June 14. A vacant building was broken into, then a hole was cut to gain access to Liquor Mart. Alarm sounded and suspects fled.

Witherwood Court, unit block, between 8 and 10:30 a.m. June 13. Black laptop, silver Panasonic radio, and 27-inch black Panasonic television stolen from apartment. Thief broke bedroom window to gain entry.

Loch Bend Drive, 8700 block, between 4 p.m. June 12 and 8 a.m. June 13. Toyota Camry, Virginia tag KBG5400, stolen.

East Joppa Road, 1200 block, at 2:25 p.m. June 10. Two men got into verbal confrontation. One pulled a silver handgun and threatened to kill other man. Both fled location.

York Road, 300 block, at 10:47 p.m. June 10. Police have issued a warrant for Alonzo Allan Jeter Jr., 22. Police allege he used key to enter Jerry's Subs and Pizza, turn off burglar alarm and remove $2,931.67 from a lock box.

Collinsdale Road, 6600 block, between 8 p.m. June 8 and 5:50 p.m. June 11. White 1996 Pontiac Sunfire stolen.

Cockeysville

Falls Road, 12000 block, between 4:30 p.m. June 12 and 6:20 a.m. June 13. Gate broken, security camera moved and 150 gallons of diesel fuel and 250 gallons of off-road diesel fuel stolen from G. Edgar Harr Sons Co.

York Road, 10500 block, 2:04 a.m. June 11. Cash stolen from register at Lil Tony's Café. Glass in front door broken to enter.

Queensbridge Court, unit block, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. June 11. Bicycle stolen from patio.

Timonium

York Road, 2200 block, 10:55 a.m. June 11. Police report that an item that appeared to be a stick of dynamite left at State Fairgrounds in Timonium turned out to be harmless.
