A man walking home from Towson Town Center and located at the intersection of Locustvale Road and Fairmount Avenue was accosted with an unknown object just after midnight on June 10, police reports state. According to police, the assailant then chased the man as he ran toward a security booth and the man dropped his cellphone. The assailant picked up the cellphone and fled in a gold-colored Chevy Suburban, the reports state.
Knollwood Road, 7500 block, between 2 p.m. June 2 and 10:30 a.m. June 12 Two shotguns, two PlayStations were stolen and residence ransacked after living room window and shed window were broken to gain entry.
York Towne Drive, 7300 block, 4:42 p.m. June 11. Woman saw two juveniles on neighbor's porch attempting to break into residence. Neighbor called police. Three juveniles were arrested.
Stevenson Lane, unit block, 6:15 p.m. June 10. Juvenile attempted to steal bicycle from sunroom after window was left open to gain entry. Juvenile was confronted by passerby and left bike. Then he and another juvenile fled on foot toward Charles Street.
Sherwood Road, 6300 block, 4 p.m. June 14. Arson reported at Domino's, Chan's Chinese Carry-out, Kontemporary Cuisine. Police report states man, 20, lit towels on fire and left them at locations. Man arrested.
Brandon Road, unit block, between 4 and 8:45 p.m. June 11. Person entered vacant house, drank soda, beer, smoked cigarettes, took bath and stole coat from closet, and then left.
Putty Hill Avenue, 1400 block, 5:45 p.m. June 13. Man approached woman, 18, from behind, put knife to throat and demanded purse. Nothing stolen. Assailant described as dark-skinned black male, 6 feet tall, 180 pounds, with large lower lip, small ears, flat eyebrows, scruffy sideburns, goatee and mustache, and yellow teeth.Copyright © 2014, The Baltimore Sun
