Pair seated on bench at Loch Raven Plaza robbed at gunpoint [Crime Log]

The following is compiled from police reports from the Towson and Cockeysville precincts. Our policy is to include descriptions when there is enough information to make identification possible.

Two people seated on a bench in the Loch Raven Plaza were robbed at gunpoint on June 4, police reports state. According to the report, the pair were approached at the shopping center in the 800 block of Tyalor Avenue by two armed men at about 11:30 p.m. and robbed of an iPhone and headphones.

Towson

Virginia Avenue, 500 block, 9:45 p.m. June 3. Woman arrested after police said she assaulted a man in his apartment and stole cash from him while wielding a knife. Woman charged with robbery and cash was returned.

Murray Hill Road, 6400 block, between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. June 5. Box of costume jewelry stolen from a house. Rear sliding door broken to gain entry.

Goucher Woods Court, unit block, between 7 p.m. June 3 and 7 a.m. June 4. Chaise lounge stolen from deck.

Timonium

Timonium Road West, 100 block, between 10 p.m. May 30 and 9 a.m. June 6. Unsuccessful attempt made to break into Timonium Green office building. Door lock appeared to have pry marks.

Merry Hunt Drive, 300 block, between 12:30 a.m. and 6 a.m. June 3. Wallet stolen from kitchen counter. Entry gained through side window.

Merry Hunt Drive, 300 block, between 12 midnight and 5:30 a.m. June 3. Black briefcase containing Apple MacBook Pro and personal checks stolen from kitchen. Entry made through unlocked garage door.

Welford Road, 100 block, between 10 p.m June 2 and 7:30 a.m. June 3. Sculpture of a mountain ox stolen from porch of residence. Unlocked vehicles in the driveway also were entered but nothing reported stolen.

Padonia Road, 200 block, between 2:30 p.m. May 27 and 10 p.m May 27. Racist and gun-related graffiti was discovered on a stall wall in the boy's bathroom.

Cockeysville

Lord Byron Lane, 200 block, 11 p.m. June 6. Jewelry, clothing, photography equipment, a backpack, and small safe containing checkbooks and Six Flags season passes were taken. Entry gained by cutting screen to enter open window.

Warren Road, 300 block, between 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. June 6. Cash, coin and vintage alcohol bottles stolen from kitchen. Intruders entered house by climbing on shed room and climbing in side kitchen window.
