Towson Crime Log: Two teens robbed at gunpoint along LaSalle Road

A Baltimore County Police report says a semi-automatic handgun was used in the robbery of two teens on LaSalle Road last week.

According to a police report from the Towson precinct, the incident occurred on May 21 in the 8100 block of LaSalle Road at about 2:10 p.m.

Three men approached two juveniles. The men had a semi-automatic handgun, the report said, and took an iPod, cell phone and iPhone, then fled on foot.

York Road and Pennsylvania Avenue, at 9:10 p.m. May 26. Woman walking on street was bumped by man from behind. Woman dropped iPhone 4S. Man picked phone up and ran away.

Loch Raven Boulevard and Sawyard Avenue, at 10:27 p.m. May 24. Two women assaulted victim with curling iron and threatened with knife. Cell phone and sweat shirt stolen. Property recovered. Keyaira Summers, 23, and a juvenile female arrested and charged with armed robbery.

Collinsdale Road, 6600 block, between 6:30 p.m. May 24 and 7:30 p.m. May 26. Two bicycles stolen from second-floor apartment balcony.

York Road, 700 block, between 4:30 and 11:45 p.m. May 22. Cash, jewelry and clothing stolen from apartment. Apartment door kicked in.

Bellona Lane, 8400 block, between midnight March 14 and 5:21 p.m. May 23. Four BMW wheels and tires stolen from unlocked storage unit.


Cranbrook Road and Tradewind Circle, between 12:30 and 7 a.m. May 28. Tires on 16 vehicles slashed.

York Road, 10100 block of York Road, May 25 between 9:30 and 9:40 p.m. Police reports say three people were robbed at the Ramada when they answered a knock on the door. Three men pushed their way into the room and ordered the occupants to lie face down on the bed and floor. Cash, purse and iPhone taken.

Lake Vista Circle, 500 block, between 11:30 p.m. May 20 and 1:34 p.m. May 21. Coins stolen from washers and dryers. Door to laundry room pried open.

Lake Ridge Place, unit block, between noon May 18 and 1:50 p.m. May 21. Coins stolen from washers and dryers. Door to laundry room pried open.

York Road, 900 block, between May 7 and May 17. Air conditioner stolen from Professional Beauty Supply.


York Road, 1700 block, between 3:25 and 4:18 a.m. May 24. Cash stolen from registers at Olympia Pizzeria and Panda King. Glass shattered on both front doors.

Westford Road, 8600 block, between 4 p.m. May 20 and 67:30 a.m. May 21. Rear doors on two unfurnished town houses kicked in. Stair railing, master bedroom light and ceiling damaged in one unit. Northing damaged in the other.
