Towson Crime Log: Towson branch of Wells Fargo bank robbed on April 20

The Wells Fargo bank in the unit block of West Chesapeake Avenue, Towson, was robbed at 3:30 p.m., April 20. According to police reports.

Police said a man passed note to teller demanding money and stating that he had a gun.

The man was given money, then fled out back door of the bank.

In addition to this incident, the following are compiled from police reports from the Towson and Cockeysville precincts. Our policy is to include descriptions when there is enough information to make identification possible.


Lake Ridge Place, unit block, 7:05 a.m. April 21. Woman knocked on apartment door, argued with tenant, pushed the door open and assaulted tenant.

Spring Lake Drive, 2300 block, at 7:45 p.m. April 16. Man entered unlocked house to get a drink. He left when homeowner returned. Police arrested Stephen Rhine, 22, and charged him with fourth-degree burglary.

Cranbrook Hills Place, 10400 block, April 16, no time specified. Maintenance personnel discovered male in a vacant apartment. He ran away when 911 was called, leaving cell phone behind.


Wood Glenn Court, 600 block, between 4 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. April 2. Unlocked vehicle in driveway ransacked, nothing stolen.

Oak Farm Court, 600 block, between 7 p.m. April 1 and 6:15 a.m. April 2. Cash, lacrosse stick and keys stolen from unlocked vehicle in driveway. Head of lacrosse stick and keys recovered.


Milldam Road, 200 block, between 7 p.m. April 19 and 2 a.m. April 20. Credit card, bank card and car registration stolen from vehicle.

Burkleigh Road, unit block at 5:11 a.m. April 20. Timothy Edward Fynn, 23, of the 100 block of Normal Terrace, arrested and charged with fourth-degree burglary and destruction of property after entering house through unlocked back door and vandalizing items in the house.
