Robbers carjack woman parked outside Chinese eatery in Towson [Crime Log]

The following is compiled from police reports from the Towson and Cockeysville precincts. Our policy is to include descriptions when there is enough information to make identification possible.

Two armed robbers carjacked a woman sitting in a vehicle outside Chen's Kitchen in the 8400 block of Loch Raven Boulevard as her male companion went inside the eatery to pick up an order on March 28, police report. According to the report, at 9:55 p.m., one of the robbers entered the driver's side door, put a gun to the woman's head and forced her out of the car. The second robber pulled the woman out of the car, got in and the two fled down Loch Raven Boulevard in the car. The car is described as a black 2006 Toyota Solara with Maryland tags, 53YV97.


Worchester Road, 500 block, between 8:15 a.m. and 8:25 p.m. March 27. Man caught inside house stealing video games, electronics. Robert Lee Wilson, 46, arrested and charged with first-degree burglary.

Taylor Avenue, 1700 block, at 12:20 a.m. March 26. Unsuccessful attempt made to break into Eight Days a Week convenience store.

Hillendale Road, 8000 block, at 1:30 a.m. March 26. Rear door, rear window of home damaged in unsuccessful attempt to break in.

Montrose Avenue, 6500 block, between 9 p.m. March 25 and 6 a.m. March 26. Four cast-iron urns stolen from front yard.

Stevenson Lane, 800 block, between 6 p.m. March 24 and 3:30 p.m. March 27. Shoes, clothing, DVD player, DVDs, cologne, jewelry stolen after rear basement door pried open to gain entry.

Kenleigh Road, 6900 block, between 8 p.m. March 24 and 7:15 a.m. March 28. 2003 Honda Element, Maryland tag number 11617CE, stolen from in front of house.


Cockeysville Road, 200 block, at 1:12 a.m. March 30. Two Dell laptops stolen from office. No forced entry; rear door was unlocked.

Mistywood Circle, unit block, between 10:30 p.m. March 30 and 4:45 a.m. March 31. Ketchup, salad dressing, bleach poured all over apartment. No forced entry.

York Road, 10800 block, between 2 a.m. and 2:47 a.m. March 29. Two men ran into Ashland Café with guns drawn, ordered owner to open safes. After stealing cash, iPhone and two guns, robbers tied up owner, put him into walk-in freezer and fled.

Belfast Road, 500 block, between 8 p.m. March 28 and 6 a.m. March 29. Generator stolen from open garage.

Stirrup Court, unit block, between 12 p.m. March 9 and 7:30 p.m. March 26. HP laptop, Pioneer TV stolen from apartment.


Greenspring Road, 2000 block, on March 26. Three cars broken into at Loyola University campus. Two GPS units, RayBan sunglasses stolen.
