City break-in leads to arrest for burglary in Anneslie [Towson Crime Log]

The following is compiled from police reports from the Towson and Cockeysville precincts. Our policy is to include descriptions when there is enough information to make identification possible.

Baltimore City police responded to call for burglary in progress at a residence in Baltimore City. When police arrived, they found prescription drugs belonging to woman who lived in the 600 block of Anneslie Road. Police then went to Anneslie Road residence and found door forced open, the house ransacked, and food, jewelry and a TV stolen. Yancy Lee Wilson, 20, of the 500 block of Turnbridge Road, Baltimore, arrested and charged with burglary.


Yakona Road, 1700 block, between 4 p.m. Jan. 10 and 2:40 a.m. Jan. 11. Person entered apartment by unknown means, stole computer, game system, tablet, TV, video game.

York Road, unit block, between 4 p.m. and 4:33 p.m. Jan. 5. Person entered home through unlocked rear door while resident was home; stole white iPhone 5s, wallet containing cash.

Lachlan Circle, 1000 block, between 6:15 p.m. Jan. 6 and 2:50 a.m. Jan. 7. Silver Mitsubishi Eclipse, Maryland tag 1AZ1264, stolen from parking lot. Keys were in vehicle.

St. Francis Road, 600 block, between 1:30 a.m. and 7:40 a.m. Jan. 2. Person entered house through unlocked garage; stole computer, cellphone.

St. Francis Road, 500 block, at 3:30 a.m. Jan. 2. Person damaged front door of vehicle in open garage, fled when alarm sounded.


Belmore Road, 100 block, between 2:50 p.m. and 8:06 p.m. Jan. 10. Person pried open window of house, ransacked house and stole jewelry.

Greenmeadow Drive, 100 block, between 11:59 p.m. Jan. 3 and 3:30 p.m. Jan. 5. Person used key to enter house; stole cash, video game system, two TVs, sound system.

East Ridgely Road, 300 block, at 3:30 a.m. Jan. 2. Man was reading in living room when burglar entered house. Burglar fled when man yelled.

Pot Spring Road, 2300 block, between 2 p.m. Dec. 30 and 7:25 a.m. Dec. 31. Person stole copper downspouts from Timonium United Methodist Church.

Jody Way, 300 block, between 3 p.m. Dec. 27 and 8 a.m. Jan. 7. Person forced open locked screen door, stole TV from enclosed porch.


Old Providence Way, 10000 block, at 9:12 p.m. Jan. 9. Two men tried to rob man as he got out of car. Victim fled into his apartment building.
