Trio of female juveniles steal car and drive to Towson shopping center [Crime log]

The following is compiled from police reports from the Towson and Cockeysville precincts. Our policy is to include descriptions when there is enough information to make identification possible.

At about 4:25 p.m. on Dec. 27, three juvenile young women stole a 2010 Toyota Prius from Foxridge Lane in Towson. A Baltimore County Police Officer ran the vehicle's plates. Three women were later arrested at Towson Place Shopping Center.

Other crimes reported in the past week are listed below.

Towson

Taylor Avenue, 800 block, 10:15 p.m. Jan. 6. Front window of Liquor Mart broken, 40 cartons of cigarettes stolen.

Seabrook Road, 600 block, between 11:30 a.m. and 12:37 p.m. Jan. 4. Kitchen window broken, Sony flatscreen television, Sony laptop, Verizon tablet, iPod, jewelry, bedsheets stolen.

Walker Avenue and Holly Lane, at 10:22 p.m. Jan. 3. Man grabbed woman's purse off her shoulder, punched woman in the face and fled.

Taylor Avenue, 900 block, between 3:34 a.m. and 4:48 a.m. Jan. 2. Board covering broken window at RadioShack removed, glass display counter smashed and two Toshiba laptops, PlayStation 3 system, and Nintendo DS game stolen.

East Joppa Road, 1500 block, at 9:25 p.m. Jan. 2. Assailant punched man walking down the road, then robbed him.

Pleasant Plains Road, 8300 block, at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 1. TV and Nintendo Wii controller stolen. No forced entry.

Barksdale Road, 8100 block, at 10:10 p.m. Dec. 29. Assailant approached woman, implied he had gun, punched the woman several times and stole her purse.

Timonium

Ivy Hill Road, 1000 block, at 10:54 a.m. Jan. 3. Window on door broken to gain entry. Jewelry stolen.

Lakespring Drive and Bosley Avenue, at 2:30 a.m. Jan. 5. Men wearing ski masks approached teenagers, pulled silver revolver, then stole iPhone, Android cellphone and wallet containing cash.

Cockeysville

Troyer Road, 17600 block, between 5 p.m. Jan. 3 and noon Jan. 4. Two empty propane tanks stolen from backyard.

Cranbrook Road, 500 block, at 8:41 p.m. Jan. 2. Assailant threw cup of coffee into clerk's face at Quick Mart. Another man went behind counter, pushed clerks against wall while assailant stole cash from register.
