Three in custody after street robbery near Towson mall

Baltimore County Police have three people in custody after a street robbery occurred near the Cheesecake Factory at the Towson Town Center mall Tuesday, according to the department's Twitter account.

According to Cpl. John Wachter, a police spokesman, the robbery involved a knife, though there were no reported injuries. Police said the three suspects were males, as was the man they robbed.

Wachter said police were notified of the robbery at 2:56 p.m., and that within seven minutes, all three suspects were in custody. Wachter said one suspect was caught in the area of Virginia Avenue in downtown Towson, which is located across East Joppa Road from the mall.
