The Maryland State Highway Administration is hosting a meeting on Monday, Jan. 28 designed to gather community input about sidewalks along North Charles Street near the city/county line.
"I know this is a priority for community leaders in the Bellona/Gittings area, and have had several discussions with my colleague, City Councilman Bill Henry, about the need to better connect the neighborhoods that abut the line between Baltimore City and County," Councilman David Marks said in an email announcing the meeting.
At the meeting, residents are asked to come prepared with ideas as to which streets and areas would benefit most from new sidewalks and curb cuts. Some parts of North Charles Street have no sidewalks.
The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 28 in the auditorium at the Church of the Redeemer. The Church of the Redeemer is located at 5603 North Charles Street in Homeland.Copyright © 2015, The Baltimore Sun
