Man taken to Shock Trauma after Towson bar fight

Baltimore County Police are investigating a Saturday morning fight outside a Towson bar that sent a man to Shock Trauma Center.

Police spokeswoman Cpl. Cathy Batton said police responded to a call for an unconscious person outside Pho Towson Bar in the 1100 block of Cromwell Bridge Road in Towson at 2:10 a.m Saturday, March 30 and discovered a 22-year-old male in the parking lot.

After a preliminary investigation, police determined the man, who was intoxicated, had been in a fight and ended up on the ground behind a vehicle in the parking lot. Batton said the vehicle, which was a light color with four doors, backed up and exited the parking lot, but police have not yet determined whether the man's injuries are from the fight or from being struck by the vehicle.

The man was transported to Shock Trauma Center by ground with what Batton called "very serious" injuries.

Detectives from the Towson precinct are still investigating the incident. Anyone with information to contribute to the investigation can call Baltimore County Police at 410-307-2020.
