Man assaulted, robbed of Air Jordans, cash in Towson

A 24-year-old man was hospitalized with serious but non-life threatening injuries Saturday night after two men assaulted and robbed him outside of his Towson apartment, according to Baltimore County Police.

Police said officers responded to an apartment complex in the unit block of Ecoway Court at 11:26 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, after a man went outside to retrieve something from his vehicle and was repeatedly punched by two other men.

As they beat the man, police said the two alleged assailants stole his Samsung cell phone, a wallet containing cash, and Nike Air Jordan 11 shoes, which retail for $185.

According to the police report, the victim could only say the men were wearing hooded sweatshirts.

Cpl. John Wachter, a spokesman for Baltimore County Police, said the investigation is ongoing. He could not provide an update on the man's condition.
