Apple Store at Towson Town Center set to debut expanded storefront

The Apple Store at Towson Town Center is scheduled to host a "grand reopening" of an expanded retail store on Saturday, Sept. 29.

According to a spokesman for the mall management firm, General Growth Properties, the Apple Store is nearly doubling its space in a new location on the mall's Level 2, going from 4,260 square feet to 8,331 square feet.

According to  Apple's website, the new store will make its debut on Saturday at 10 a.m.

In addition, Towson Town Center last week announced that two new merchants will be opening this fall.

Steve Madden, a fashion footwear retailer, will open a 1,561-square-foot store in November, according to mall management officials.

Madden has designed shoe fashions for two decades for men and women, and the company has recently been expanding into apparel and other accessories such as dresses, handbags, belts, sunwear, cold weather, outerwear and hosiery.

Also opening in November is Burger King, which will take a 586-square-foot space in the Food Court.
