Baltimore County Police this week have charged a man in 10 burglaries that occurred at off-campus apartments around Towson University last month.

Vincent Davis Jr., 43, of the 1400 block of Taylor Ave. was arrested last week and charged with nine counts of first-degree burglary and one count of attempted first-degree burglary.

He is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center. He does not have an attorney listed in court records.

Police reported 10 burglaries since April 4 at apartments near the university. Most of the victims were women, police said. In most cases, the apartments were broken into through unlocked doors or windows at night, and jewelry, cash, medications and personal items were taken.

The burglaries occurred on the following dates:

April 4: 1000 block Donnington Circle

April 5: 1000 block Donnington Circle

April 5-6: 1100 block Donnington Circle

April 8: 1100 block Donnington Circle

April 12: 1000 block Charles View Way

April 14: 1000 block Charles View Way

April 18-19: 7700 block of Greenview Terrace

April 18-21: 7700 block of Greenview Terrace

April 26-27: unit block of Fellowship Court

April 26-27: 200 block of Donnybrook Lane
