Construction to begin on Loch Raven Boulevard in Towson

The State Highway Authority announced this week that construction was underway on the stretch of Loch Raven Boulevard near the Baltimore Beltway, and advised travelers to allow for delays on their commutes.

The construction, which includes concrete repairs between Joppa Road and Cromwell Bridge Road, will include overnight road closures. From 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. from Sunday to Thursday, single lanes will be temporarily closed on Loch Raven Boulevard. On- and off-ramps could also be closed during that time, according to the SHA.

On weekends, traffic patterns may also be altered at any time between 10 p.m. Friday and 9 p.m. Sunday.

The project, which will cost $850,000, will be completed by early fall, according to the SHA.
