Consistent serving has been a problem all season for the Lansdowne volleyball team and that was the case on Oct. 4 when the Vikings hosted Parkville.
Lansdowne missed eight serves in the first set and eight more in the fourth set. In between, they only missed a combined seven serves, which helped them to a 25-27, 25-18, 25-9, 25-20 victory.
“Serving has been our struggle,” Lansdowne coach Sarah Curran said. “It’s in, it’s out, it’s in, it’s out. Some people go back and serve one and serve perfectly and then the next one they serve, way, way out.”
Curran hopes the service woes are behind them when they play at Sparrows Point tonight at 5 p.m.
