Pedestrian killed in Liberty Road crash

Baltimore County police say an 18-year-oold pedestrian was killed Thursday night in an accident in Randallstown.

At 10:51 p.m., county police and fire personnel responded to Liberty and Chapman roads, and found that a pedestrian had been crossing Liberty Road when he was struck by a BMW traveling westbound on Liberty Road. He was thrown into an eastbound lane of Liberty Road and struck a second time by a Mitsubishi Eclipse, police said.

Caleb Aaron Moulton, 18, was declared dead at the scene, police said.

Police said the driver of the BMW remained at the scene; the driver of the Mitsubishi Eclipse continued home, then contacted police. Neither driver was identified by police. The incident remains under investigation, and police said the State's Attorney's Office will review the case and decide if any charges will be brought.
