U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan is scheduled to visit Baltimore County in April to discuss gun control, county Superintendent Dallas Dance said Tuesday.
Duncan plans to visit Loch Raven High School on April 10, Dance announced at a school board meeting in Towson.
It would be Duncan's second visit to a county school. In August, he visited Perry Hall High School, where he addressed 800 English teachers, telling them he believes teacher pay should be raised and that schools must ensure children are exposed to music, art and other subjects in addition to reading and math.
