Baltimore County police says a juvenile walking along a roadway south of Perry Hall was threatened with robbery by four men in a vehicle early Saturday.

The juvenile was on a sidewalk on Silver Spring Road at Garland Avenue at 12:50 a.m. when a gray sedan pulled up beside him, according to police. The occupants inside the vehicle then threatened to take the juvenile's money.

Police said the suspects exited the vehicle and chased the juvenile into the woods, where he managed to lose them. Nothing was taken from the victim nor were any weapons used.

Also this past week, someone attempted to break into a Rosedale home, according to police accounts.

Between 9 a.m. Thursday and 2 p.m. Friday, someone tried to enter the home by using an unknown prying tool, police said. The effort was unsuccessful, and the intruder fled the scene in an unknown direction.
