Perry Hall wrestler Matt Green captures second state crown [Pictures]
Perry Hall senior Matt Green won his second straight Class 4A/3A state championship at the state wrestling tournament on Saturday, pinning Huntingtown's Dalonte Holland (36-7) in 3:49 at heavyweight. He said the title was meaningful because his father Tom witnessed it. "My dad was here and he didn't get to come here last year," said Green, who hugged his father soon after the match was competed. "He works at a cater. I wanted this for him more than me." Green went a perfect 41-0 this season.
