A Parkville woman has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for conspiracy to produce child pornography involving a 15-year-old girl.

In addition to the jail time, Margaret Ellen Jones, 38, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge James K. Bredar to 15 years of supervised release. Upon her release, she must register as a sex offender.

John Andrew Blaes, 50, also of Parkville, previously pleaded guilty to conspiracy to produce pornography and to transporting a minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct. Blaes has been sentenced to 27 years in prison.

Officials in the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Maryland said Jones' plea agreement detailed how she and Blaes were involved in a relationship, and that Blaes used the Internet to recruit women and girls into a lifestyle involving bondage.

Prosecutors said Blaes solicited a 15-year-old girl to engage in sexual conduct with him and Jones in July 2011, then traveled to the girl's home in North Carolina and brought her back to Parkville. Prosecutors alleged the two abused the girl over several months, instructed her to call them "master" and "mistress," and distributed the sexually explicit images of the girl online.
