A Parkville man has been charged with stabbing a victim and fleeing with drugs Saturday, Baltimore County police said.
Police said Joshua Ritter, 28, had met his victim for a drug transaction when Ritter pulled out a knife and demanded the drugs. The victim, who was not identified, was stabbed several times.
Officers and medics were called to a home in the 2500 block of Creighton Avenue at about 9:25 p.m. The victim's injuries are not considered life-threatening
Ritter, of the 2500 block of Wycliffe Road, is charged with attempted first degree murder, armed robbery and first degree assault.
Online court records show Ritter has faced multiple drug and theft-related charges since 2005. He has open drug-related charges from September, records show. In 2011, he received a 90-day sentence for drug possession, and in 2006, he received a year-long sentence for drug-related charges.
