A man previously convicted of pimping an underage girl for prostitution was indicted Tuesday on a charge that he offered a 16-year-old Baltimore girl for sex.
Rodney Hubert, also known as "Noah," 38, of Parkville, was charged in U.S. District Court with one count of sex trafficking of a minor. Hubert was convicted in 2010 of human trafficking in a case that involved a 15-year-old girl in Montgomery County, according to court records and news reports.
Prosecutors allege that Hubert used a 19-year-old woman working for him as a prostitute to recruit other prostitutes, and the woman found a 16-year-old girl in Baltimore for Hubert to pimp. The woman and girl lived with Hubert at his Parkville home, according to the indictment.
Hubert advertised the 16-year-old girl online for sex and posted revealing pictures of her on a website in February, prosecutors said. Hubert kept most of the girl's earnings and used some of the proceeds to pay for a security guard and driver for her while she worked.
The girl told Hubert how old she was when he offered to pay her $1,000 to make a pornographic film, prosecutors said.
Jerome Joyce, Hubert's attorney, declined to comment on the case.
