Firehouse Subs pays it forward, donates cameras to volunteer fire company [Owings Mills]
Paying it forward came full circle in the community when Firehouse Subs donated new technology to the Owings Mills Volunteer Fire Company. The new business in Owings Mills opened in the Garrison Forest Shopping Center, and the fire company donated old tools and equipment for display purposes. Recently, Firehouse Subs donated two thermal imaging cameras (worth more than $14,600) to the fire department, which can be clipped onto the firefighter's turnout gear. The cameras show various colors for different temperatures. Captain Ed Schwartz Jr. is very appreciative as the fire company could never have afforded this equipment.
