Woman intentionally hit by car in Pikesville

A woman was intentionally struck by a car and injured in Pikesville Friday night, though a motive for the attack remains unknown, Baltimore County police said.

The victim, who is in her 50s, was found lying in the street with serious injuries near the intersection of Idylwood Road and Gwynnvale Road around 6:45 p.m., and was taken to a hospital. Police did not have information on her current condition. Police believe she was intentionally struck by a silver car, but the identity of the driver and a possible motive remains unknown. Police also had no further information on a description of the car.
