Maryland Mayflower Society Governor Benjamin Proctor Jr., of Lutherville, is descended from the following passengers on the Mayflower:

• William Bradford — five times governor of Plymouth Colony

• William Brewster — senior elder and separatist religious leader

• Isaac Allerton — assistant to Bradford, colony business agent, husband of Fear Brewster Allerton

• Myles Standish — first commander of colony militia

John Alden — Mayflower crew member, assistant to colony governor, married Priscilla Mullins

• William Mullins — shoemaker, died first winter

• Richard Warren — possibly a merchant from London

• Thomas Rogers — died first winter

• James Chilton — arrived in colony at age 64, oldest Pilgrim; died first winter

• George Soule — indentured servant upon arrival

• Henry Samson — arrived at age 16, nephew of Edward Tilley, who died first winter
