CCBC Dundalk's men, women fall in basketball against Harford

On a night where Harford Community College athletics honored six sophomores, it was Tiffany Taylor who was the big star. The super scorer became the first Fighting Owl in school history to net 1,000 points in a 72-60 victory over CCBC Dundalk.

Taylor reached the milestone with a 3-pointer just two minutes into the contest, but she didn't stop there. The sophomore net a season-high 34 points in the win, including matching Dundalk's first-half total with 24 markers. She also pulled in 11 rebounds for the double-double.

HCC men also win

On Friday, Dimitrious Jelen-Joy netted 33 points in an 86-78 victory over CCBC Dundalk on Sophomore Night.

Malachi Seney scored 12 of his 17 points in the second half as the Fighting Owls pulled away. The game was iced when Carlos Brown nabbed an acrobatic steal at midcourt, dribbled behind his back to create space, and connected on a tough fast-break layup in the final minutes.
