Man in custody in Edgemere shooting

A man found shot in the upper body in Edgemere on Tuesday evening is expected to survive, while a second man has been taken into police custody in the shooting, according to Baltimore County Police.

The wounded man was found in the 7500 block of Sparrows Point Road about 6:25 p.m., police said. He was shot outside.

His condition had stabilized as of Wednesday morning, police said.

An initial investigation showed the two men were in an "altercation" at the location before the shooting occurred, police said.

A suspect has been taken into police custody but had not been charged as of early Wednesday morning, police said.
