A man and woman, both 65 years old, were visiting people in Dundalk Saturday night when they were shot at least once and are not believed to be the attacker's intended targets, Baltimore County police said Tuesday.
The man and woman were in a car in the 100 block of Chestnut Avenue around 10:15 p.m. and leaving the area when they were both shot in the upper body, police said. The suspect has not been found, and while police have not determined a motive, officials say the two were shot mistakenly.
The victims, who drove to Dundalk Avenue and Broening Road after they were shot and called police, were treated at a hospital for injuries that weren't expected to be life-threatening.
