Baltimore County police are investigating a homicide that occurred in a Dundalk apartment Thursday afternoon.
Officers were called around 1 p.m. to the 2000 block of Paulette Road for a shooting. They found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead.
Police said they had a suspect in custody shortly after the shooting. They have not identified either the suspect or victim.
The shooting is the county's first homicide this year. Last year, the county counted 19 homicides, 23 in 2012, and 30 in 2011.
