Homicide detectives are investigating two separate instances of dead bodies being found in Baltimore County Tuesday, police said.
The first was discovered behind Logan Elementary School in the 7600 block of Dunmanway in Dundalk around 7 a.m. Tuesday morning, police said.
Police said a school support employee found a man's body at the "extreme rear" of the school property, next to a public sidewalk.
The second man's body was found by a passerby in Rocky Point Park in the 2200 block of Rocky Point Rd in Essex around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, police said. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene upon arrival.
Investigators do not believe the two are related, according to Lt. Rob McCullough, a Baltimore County police spokesman.
The medical eximiner's office will perform autopsies on both men to determine cause of death. Neither man's identity has been publicly released.
