Two arrested for Hunt Valley McDonald's armed robbery

Baltimore County Police arrested two men on Saturday night after they allegedly brandished a pellet gun in a robbery of the McDonald's in Hunt Valley.

According to police, the two men entered the McDonald's in the 11300 block of York Road in Hunt Valley at 10:15 p.m. on Saturday, April 6. The men displayed a revolver-style pellet gun and ordered an employee to empty the register, police said.

Police spokeswoman Cpl. Cathy Batton said the employee could not open the register, so the men ordered the employee to the back of the store where the safe is located. There, the employee opened the safe and put money into a plastic bag.

After the employee took money from the safe, the employee was able to access the register and the employee was ordered to take out more money.

After a brief police chase, the men were located in the area of Rosslare Ridge Road in Timonium, police said.

Batton said one man was found near a home in the 12300 block of Rosslare Ridge Road, and another was found hiding under a vehicle parked along that street.

Police said Nicholaus Duane Megginson, 24, of the 4300 block of Breeders Cup Circle 21133, and Dahrod Lovis Davenport, 22, of the 4100 block of Richwood Avenue 21215, were arrested and charged with armed robbery.
