A Catonsville man has been charged with two counts of burglary after a report that three men had been spotted running through yards at Forest Road and Frederick Road in Catonsville on Wednesday, Feb. 12, according to Baltimore County Police spokesman Cpl. John Wachter.
Kevin Quonya Graves, 19, of Winters Lane in Catonsville, is being held in the Baltimore County Detention Center on $25,000 bail, Wachter said.
Baltimore County Police sent helicopters out Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 12, to investigate after receiving a call at 11:19 a.m. about three suspicious men dressed in black running through yards in the Catonsville neighborhood, Wachter said.
When officers arrived, they spoke with the person who had called 911, he said.
The caller said they had followed the men to give police updates, Wachter said, and told police that one of the men had pointed a handgun and pretended to shoot.
There were no injuries and no property was stolen, Wachter said.
Graves, who was not carrying a handgun, was stopped at the unit block of North Beaumont Avenue and arrested at approximately 11:40 a.m. Feb. 12 by police, he said.
Police found a tool used to break into homes and cars in his posession, he said.
Wachter said the other two men were not found.
