Nature blessed the Catonsville Fourth of July parade with an exquisite, blue sky and, as always, an enthusiastic, patriotic crowd.
I want to thank the Catonsville Celebrations Committee for granting me the privilege of being this year's grand marshal. Thanks also to the people of Catonsville for watching, cheering, and waving United States flags along the two-mile parade route.
What a good time it was — smiling and waving to family, friends, business buddies and the crowd while riding in a sleek, classic 1975 Cadillac Eldorado convertible! My lovely wife, Cindy, our grandchildren, and owner/driver of the yellow car, deejay Bob Mathers, and his wife Elaine were all along for a Fourth to remember!
The day was just incredible! I'm humbled to have served as the parade's grand marshal and my family is so appreciative.
