Catonsville Historical Society hosts reception for 10 romance writers April 12

The Catonsville Historical Society is hosting a free author night reception featuring 10 authors, 7-9 p.m. on Friday, April 12, at the society, 1824 Frederick Road.

The authors are all members of Maryland Romance Writers, which meets monthly at the Arbutus Library in Arbutus.

They will discuss "What I wish I'd known when I started writing," and offer sneak peeks at their upcoming books.

Guest authors include: romance author Laura Kaye;Nebula-Award-winning science fiction author Catherine Asaro; paranormal romance author Kathy Love; historical authors Janet Mullany, Christie Kelley and Kate Poole; contemporary romance authors Christi Barth, Joya Fields and K.D. Hays; and multi-cultural paranormal author Vivi Dumas.

Enjoy a glass of wine, nibble on snacks, talk with booklovers, and see the latest from best-selling, award-winning authors.

The reception is free and open to the public.

Parking available across the street at the Five Oaks Swim Club.
