Hubbard Christmas Tree Giveaway

The Hubbard Funeral Home will host a special Christmas tree giveway for families of deployed members of the Maryland National Guard on Saturday, Dec. 7, 1-3 p.m. at home, 4107 Wilkens Ave.

Dan Simons, managing partner of Hubbard Funeral Home, and his wife, Heather, will give up to 250 Christmas trees to the families during the event.

Members of funeral home staff and the Maryland National Guard Teen Council will be on hand to help load trees and tie them down on vehicles.

A visit from Santa is expected and coffee, hot chocolate, cookies and candy canes will be offered.
