The Greater Catonsville Chamber of Commerce's Frederick Road Fridays series begins its final month of free concerts on Aug. 2 with an appearance by D'Vibe & Conga.
The band's original bongo jazz tunes feature a variety of percussion, woodwind and string instruments.
Concert is 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the parking lot at the Mews on Mellor Avenue. Visitors are encouraged to bring chairs for seating.
Heavy Seas beer from the microbrewery in nearby Halethorpe and other beverages will be served by the chamber and members of local nonprofit organizations each Friday evening.
Proceeds from the Aug. 2 concession sales benefit Catonsville Community Foundation.

On Saturday, Aug. 3, the Patty Reese Band will perform a selection of original songs and blues 4-7 p.m. on the Selma Avenue parking lot, 5200 Selma Ave., in Arbutus.
The concert is part of the Arbutus Business and Professional Association's first season of summer concerts.
No admission charge. Beer, wine, soda and water will be available for purchase.
Bring lawn chairs for seats.

On Saturday evening at the Lurman Woodland Theatre in Catonsville, the Tommy Lepson Band will perform originals, blues, soul and new versions of obscure R&B gems at the outdoor community amphitheater.
The 6-8 p.m. concert in the unique wooded setting is free.
On Sunday, Aug. 4, local musicians are invited to join an acoustic open-air jam, 2-6 p.m. at the Lurman.
The jam will be followed by a performance by the Annapolis Bluegrass Coalition, 6-8 p.m.
The five-piece band plays a mixture of traditional and contemporary bluegrass tunes.
Fans should bring chairs or blankets to the natural amphitheater on the campus of Catonsville High School, off Hilltop Road and Bloomsbury Avenue. Bench seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Food and drinks available for purchase. No alcohol, grills or pets.
