Lansdowne High celebrates 50th anniversary

Lansdowne High School is observing its 50th anniversary in October and invites community members and alumni to join the celebration.

The school will host a dinner and program Oct. 12 from 8 p.m. to midnight at Martin's West at 6817 Dogwood Road in Woodlawn.

Dinner will be served from 8 to 10 p.m. and the celebration program will run from 10 p.m. to midnight.

Tickets include a commemorative booklet and keepsake in addition to a meal of chicken Marsala, herb salmon, vegetable lasagna or roasted turkey.

Deadline to purchase the $57 tickets is Sept. 27. Seating is limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

A cash bar is available and attendees must be 21 or older.
