Pedestrian struck, killed in Towson crash

A 65-year-old man was killed early Saturday morning when he was struck by a car in Towson, Baltimore County Police said.

Albert John Olszewski Jr. was in the roadway on Charles Street, south of Gatehouse Drive near Greater Baltimore Medical Center, at about 12:25 a.m.

A 2006 Hyundai Sonata hit Olszewski, who lived on David Avenue in Parkville. He was taken to nearby GBMC, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Baltimore County Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
