A 36-year-old motorcyclist was killed early Friday after rear-ending a car on a Beltway off-ramp in Parkville, Baltimore County police said.
Police say Einar Enriquez Orta was leaving the westbound Beltway for North Harford Road when the motorcycle he was operating hit the back of a Subaru Forester on the ramp. The motorcycle left the road and Orta was thrown. The accident occurred just before 1 a.m.
Orta, of the 10800 block of Proctor Ave. in White Marsh, was flown by helicopter to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center where he was pronounced dead, police said. The driver of the Subaru was not injured.
The Baltimore County Police Crash Team is investigating.
