Police search for Lansdowne stabbing suspect, girlfriend

Baltimore County police continue to look for the suspect in a Lansdowne stabbing, along with his missing girlfriend.

Police said Rony Leonel Deleon, 28, is wanted in a stabbing at a home in the 3000 block of Bero Road in Lansdowne on Wednesday.

Police are also searching for Deleon's girlfriend, Damaris Noemi Chavez-Calderon, 24. Police said they want to confirm that she is unharmed but it is unclear if the two are together. Chavez-Calderon is Hispanic, 5'5" and 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Police were called to the couple's apartment complex in the 3000 block of Bero Road around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday where they found a man in parking lot who had been stabbed. He told police Deleon ran back into the home and that he believed a woman also was inside. Tactical officers went inside and searched the home but did not find anyone.

Police did not identify the stabbing victim but said he has been released from the hospital. Police say it is unclear what the victim's relationship is to Deleon and Chavez-Calderon.

Deleon faces first- and second-degree assault and use of a dangerous weapon with intent to injure.
