Rosedale homicide victims identified

A man and woman who died after they were attacked in a Rosedale apartment early Monday morning have been identified by Baltimore County police.

Police say Charles William Mitter, 39, and Tyray Avia Wise, 26, were attacked in their apartment in the 9800 block of Whitney Drive early Monday morning.

Detectives believe the suspects targeted the victims but did not provide any information about a motive. A police spokesman could not say how Mitter and Wise knew each other.

Mitter was pronounced dead at the scene. Wise was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center where she later died. The spokesman would not disclose the cause of death. Officers were initially called to the apartment for a report of a stabbing. The medical examiner's office is conducting autopsies.

Police did not provide any suspect information.
