A collision between a sport-utility vehicle and a tractor early Sunday in White Marsh claimed the life of a Harford County woman and critically injured her husband. Linda Buckland, 57, of Edgewood, was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Tracker westbound on Pulaski Highway at 1:44 a.m. when she collided with a Kenworth tractor driven by Irvin Jones, of Dublin, Va., who was entering the highway from Stevens Road. Police said Linda Buckland died later at Maryland Shock Trauma Center and that her husband, Charles, 62, was in critical condition there. Jones was charged with multiple violations.

Linda was my stepmother.You couldn't ask for a better person to be a stepmother.I always went to her for advise when i had no one else or, just needed someone to talk to. She treated and, love my children like they were her grandchildren. Words can't describe how much i loved her and, how much i will miss her.She was the best mother anyone could ask for. She gave so much love to her family and, didn't ask for much in return.She did not deserve to be taken from this world the way she was. I only hope that the person who took her from us is punished to the full extent of the law.She will be missed by my family and, i more than i can say. To dad , Chuck and, Marie it's going to be hard to get through this and, i will always be here for you. Missy Buckland
