This year's Fourth of July celebration at the Inner Harbor includes doo wop performances, patriotic music and the annual fireworks display. Festivities begin at 3 p.m., with fireworks at 9:30. Over the next two days, visit the USCGC Sanibel after it arrives at Pier 1 Constellation Dock.

Annapolis kicks off its Fourth of July celebration with a naturalization ceremony at the William Paca House and Garden at 9:30 a.m. The fun continues with a downtown parade at 6 p.m. Also, check out a free concert by the United States Naval Academy Band. Fireworks start at 9:15 p.m.

Children's games and races will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Catonsville High School, Rolling and Valley roads. An American music concert will be held at 11 a.m. at Christian Temple, 5820 Edmondson Ave. The 62nd annual parade is to begin at 3 p.m. from Frederick Road and Montrose Avenue, east on Frederick Road to Bloomsbury Avenue and south on Bloomsbury to the community center. At 6:30 p.m., Catonsville High will offer a musical salute, and at 9 p.m. a color guard tribute will be held. Fireworks are to start at 9:15 p.m. (Rain date is July 5 for fireworks only.) Fireworks Extravaganza

The Eastern Yacht Club hosts a Fireworks Extravaganza over Middle River on Saturday. The club opens at 3 p.m., and the fireworks show starts at 9:30 p.m. The $1 admission fee benefits the Marine Trades Association of Baltimore County's scholarship program. Take a trip back in time at the Carroll County Farm Museum's old-fashioned celebration of the Fourth. The farmhouse will be open to tours noon-6 p.m. Friday, and there will be live entertainment all day long. The fireworks display starts at 9:30 p.m. Admission is $3-$5 noon-5 p.m. After 5 p.m., a donation of $5 per car is requested. The museum is at 500 S. Frederick's Fourth of July celebration

Frederick's Fourth of July celebration includes a "best patriotic dress" contest, four stages of entertainment, a chili cook-off, a pie-eating contest and beer gardens. The Independence Celebration and Carnival runs through Saturday, when there will be a Fourth of July parade on Union Avenue at 2 p.m. There will also be a concert and fireworks at Tydings Memorial Park. The concert starts at 7 p.m., and the fireworks start at 9:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday, the carnival is open 6 p.m.-10 p.m.; an unlimited-ride pass costs $20. The Dundalk Heritage Association holds its 72nd annual Independence Day Parade, including 16 bands, floats and marching units Friday at 8:30 a.m. The parade is part of the Dundalk Heritage Fair, which runs Friday-Sunday.
