Train garden up and running at Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department

The Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department hosts its 20th annual Christmas Train Garden at the department, 5200 Southwestern Blvd.

The garden is open Mondays through Fridays, 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays, 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Admission is free but donations are greatly appreciated.

Youngsters can enjoy cookies and milk and watch "The Polar Express" before they visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus on Dec. 7 at 6 p.m. Admission is $4.

There will be a pancake breakfast with Santa in his workshop Sunday, Dec. 8, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Cost for all-you-can-eat pancakes, eggs, home fries, sausage and drinks is $7 for adults and $4 for ages 4-12. Children 3 and younger are free.
